This is why I lose my shit sometimes over things like the amount of humans on the planet or people not turning off the damn heat and putting on a sweater. It's why the past few days of unseasonably warm weather scare the living crap out of me. I know nobody wants to hear it, but man it's real.

To be fair, this is but one scientist's estimation and it stands in contrast with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's conclusions. It's really only being reported because it sounds scary.

Now, this doesn't mean that climate change shouldn't be taken far more seriously than it is by too many world leaders, but giving into hysteria is only going to ensure that environmentalists are treated as crackpots for all-time!
